In hopes of affecting change, Angela King, a former white supremacist, forces herself to journey into her own past and come to terms with a history steeped in hatred and bigotry. Through a mix of reenactments and her own narration, viewers will experience Angela’s story of painful self-discovery, which ultimately led her from skinhead to diversity advocate.

 

This groundbreaking social justice experience forces viewers to confront a difficult cultural reality, hoping to inspire a more compassionate world. MEETING A MONSTER was part of Tribeca 2018 and was produced as part of Oculus’ VR for Good creators lab.
